Redbull GRC Fan Engagement.

Problem

The Redbull GRC (Global Rallycross Championship) is a high octane, action packed, fan orientated championship based within the U.S.

Manufacturers and star studded lineups compete in urban locations in a series of ‘pop-up’ events which take part on mixed surfaces with obstacles to create a spectacle like no other. Being such an eventful and exciting championship, Volkswagen (reigning champions) wanted to ensure their fans didn’t miss any of the action on track.

Solution

The brief was simple: to create an engaging and dynamic platform for fans and spectators to watch live feeds, data, social and team created content.

The resulting dashboard informed, engaged and wowed fans trackside and worldwide via an interactive mobile site. This fan-first thinking ensured that the VW were one of the most forward thinking and popular teams within GRC.
