Problem
In 2014, the annual Manchester Literature Festival required a new campaign and identity to attract new visitors to the various events held throughout the city.
Solution
The theme for the festivities – ‘Art of Words’ set the brief and tone for the identity. The chosen concept was a typographic solution that reflected featured authors, books and events held throughout the festival in a light-hearted, playful way with the ultimate aim of creating intrigue and discussion.
To date this was one of the most successful annual MLF festivals with record attendances to each of the events and set the bar even higher for 2015.
