Harris Museum.

Be a Friend.

Problem

The Friends of the Harris Museum are a group of volunteers and fundraisers who purchase and donate artwork to the Harris Museum, Preston.

With many local charities and good causes to choose from, it was imperative The Friends rebranded to help raise awareness of their great cause and to increase their memberships to help fund future donations to the Museum.

Solution

The resulting identity was inspired by the Neo-Classical architecture of the Museum and its six supporting pillars. This was interpreted in a bold graphic way using a joyful colour palette and eclectic mix of typefaces to create a universal and flexible look and feel that appeals to all ages.

As a result of the rebrand, new memberships and donations to this great cause rose by over 23% within 12 months, enabling the Museum to invest in new exhibits and artworks that will inspire the community for many years to come.
