Man City wanted a truly memorable Christmas campaign to promote their latest merchandise and experiences. One that stood out from the rest and provided the marketing team with the flexibility to change and adapt the creative depending on the media and format required.
Solution
The concept centred around the headline ‘This City Loves Christmas’, which inspired a set of festive scenes to use across the various City social channels. Each composition features City players in common match day situations, together with Christmas gifts to create a playful yet subtle aesthetic.
The campaign was well received by fans on social media due to its playful tone and allowed City’s brand personality to shine through – all whilst driving sales through the roof. The perfect result!
