Problem
Whilst their quality classroom products are more innovative and durable than similar competitor products, their brand had become cluttered. There were too many messages and graphic styles. The brand lacked a clear positioning and the business needed re-invigorating.
Solution
The key to a successful rebrand is to strip back the clutter, uncover the core purpose and give the brand some clarity.
We focused on the benefits to teachers and pupils who use the Show-me products, and the visible difference they make to the classroom. This led to the ‘Seeing is Achieving’ essence being developed and a more emotive approach. We also created an engaging narrative for each product to promote their innovation.
A rebrand doesn’t always involve a change of identity. We felt that we could do more with Show-me speech bubble, so we made it more integral to the brand. We also stripped back the core brand to black and white, then introduced a contemporary colour palette, along with a library of fun patterns and squiggles.
Overall, we’ve given the brand a whole new lease of life, with a bold, fun and engaging personality that really captures the energy of a classroom.
