Problem
The Tate Group – an internationally renowned arts body recently refurbished their award winning restaurant and bar located on Level 9 of the Tate Modern, London.
As a finishing touch to their opening celebrations, the Tate required a packaging refresh for their in-house wine selection, which encapsulated the new environment and celebrated featured artists within the gallery.
Solution
The resulting idea embraced the iconic Tate Modern building silhouette in a bold, striking cutout. Gradually, as the contents are consumed, an iconic artwork from a featured artist is revealed on the inner wine label. The supporting artwork and shipping packaging completed a minimal, yet contemporary solution befitting of such a prestigious London institution.
